Some quotes from Mynah...

"Angel is doing great. Actually , I have sort of "lost her" to my daughter. She and Angel are great pals. Jordana is riding every day and loving it/her. She is playing around with barrels and just enjoying being together."

"Angel was pretty much semi-retired and "living the life of Ryan", but she really seems to look forward to Jordana messing around with her. She is spoiled rotten, mane braided and fussed over..."

Angel's custom beaded halter...

About Angel
Angel was my first horse. After waiting so many years, I was finally able to fulfill my dream and buy my Arabian! I found her after a short search. There were a number of horses to look at, and I was brand new to this and wanted a horse, NOW, desperately! I saw Angel, I could afford Angel, so I wanted Angel! I put a down payment on her, and rushed out to find somewhere to board her until I could move her out to our acreage. I found a place that would treat her nicely, and gave Fern the rest of the money owed, and took Angel to her new home. I was bursting with pride. Everyone at the stable thought Angel was beautiful and sweet. She was. Now, for my very first ride on my very own horse...well, she was very green, and hadn't been touched for about a year, but that didn't stop me! I put her new saddle on, with her new bridle, and I hopped aboard! Obviously Angel and I didn't have the same idea of what our first ride was supposed to be, as she went one way, and I went the other! As I sat in the shavings contemplating what went wrong, Angel came over to see if I was all right. Hmmm, it did dawn on me that I wasn't in my teens anymore, and if I wanted to ride Angel, maybe I had better ask her how she wanted to do it, as I didn't think I could take many more landings like that one. With a little help, and some longing before hand, we did get our act together, and had some very nice rides while at the stable.

When the time came to move Angel out to our fifty acres that spring, I will never forget the look on her face as we brought her out of the trailer...her eyes were as wide as saucers! What was this? No white plank fencing? No barn, no stalls, no shavings!!! Just acres and acres of hills and grass up to her belly! It didn't take her long to settle down, as Angel's greatest joy is eating. We went for many trail rides Angel and I, and eventually I entrusted her to my husband, who chased many a cow while on Angel's back. While looking for the horses I would go down our hill to find them, and usually I would forget a halter and rope, but no matter. I would just hop up on Angel and she would bring me to the top of the hill, cantering where it was steep because it was so much easier than walking. I could always trust her to get me to the top safely

When I decided to go into CMK breeding, I knew I should find Angel a home where she could be appreciated. I put an ad up, hoping to find the perfect person to look after our girl. Well, I did! Angel's breeder's daughter~in~law e~mailed me, asking about Angel. It seemed so right. Angel left to go back home, back to the white plank fences, the barn, her old stall, and all those comfortable shavings! We delivered her, and I still remember how fast she settled in, just like she had come home, which she indeed had. Have a wonderful semi~retirement Angel, you've deserved it!
