We are on fifty acres in the south Okanagan Valley, roughly half an hour south of Penticton. We live here with our beautiful CMK Arabians, dogs, bovine and poultry. Around us is such a variety of flora and fauna. Down in elevation is the semi desert, starting at White Lake/Willowbrook Rd, running to the Canada/US border. Rattlesnake, burrowing owls and scorpions all share this hot dry land with the sage and antelope brush. Up above us we have wet ravines, with moss, ferns and cedar trees. This is fantastic land for hiking and riding. There are fossils to be found and old mines and homesteads to be explored. As we are surrounded on two sides by crown land we can leave our home and ride for miles, either on horse, quad or snowmobile...

I chose the CMK Arabian because of the way they look. I was tired of looking in the glossies and seeing these balded, greased, and rectangular horses they called Arabians. What happened to the Arabian I remembered? Somewhere, the majority of people lost sight of what the Arabian horse was supposed to be. But then I found the CMK Arabian. That's the horse I remember! Give me those whiskers, and those fuzzy ears! I love the CMK horse of today, because you can open a magazine from the 50's and 60's, and see that they haven't changed all that much in all these years. That's the gift that WK Kellogg, WR Brown, Lady Wentworth and the Blunts contributed to the CMK Arabian. I thank all the breeders that kept the CMK bloodlines alive for the rest of us to love and enjoy.

Along with our horses, we have four Catahoulas, a Great Pyrenees, and our older Border Collie. Feel free to visit the dog's page when it is completed, as well as the farm's.
