Some quotes from Leslie on Farwa...
"Farwa is a love. He is so personable, talks to me constantly, I swear he really has
something to say it seems!"
"I do love that pic of Farwa's face too, he looks so sweet :) Well he is sweet, of course,
I just love him.
So smart and willing. I did some Parelli circle work outside the trailer the other day and
then asked him to get
in and he went in all by himself, backed out nicely too. He did it 4 times! The horseshoer
came the other day too
and Farwa was great, no probs."
"Off to find silly Farwa's water tub again. It's
over 100 degrees and he still chooses to dump it, use it to moonwalk in and
then hide it waaayyyy out in the pasture or behind a tree. I have to do
this at least 3 times a day! Think I'd get smart and get a heavier stock
tub :)"
"Yeah, Farwa is funny. Not only though does he retrieve, but like your typical child he loses everything too!
I bought him an $18 Jolly Ball and he promptly took it out to the pasture and lost it, silly boy. Farwa has a pet cat too.
A wild cat adopted us several years ago and she actually became quite tame. She only stays in the barn area though.
She hangs with Farwa and lays underneath him and rolls around...yikes! He is so careful with her though.
He also loves to play the "annoy the neighbor dogs" game. What a noisy, irritating game"
"Last night at 2 a.m. I heard very loud thumping and banging in the pasture so I go out to find Farwa has dumped his
new Rubbermaid stock tank and is dragging it and attempting to ski in it around the pasture! He is such a crack up!
It is big and heavy too."

Farwa has been under saddle only a few weeks, and is coming along nicely. As you can see he
is responding well to his lessons...
