Silk stands 15 hh or so, and is a sweet mare, who loves the company of people. Her dam won a 25 mile endurance race, and came 2nd in a 50 miler. As it is she hasn't been brought home wet once since I started riding her, she has fantastic recovery rates. And, this girl can trot! She obviously inherited her sire's well known spectacular trot! Silk has a dorsal stripe, stripes on her forelegs, cobwebbing, reverse dapples, countershading, a golden hue on her cannons, and a black, brown and white mane and tail. She also has a small belly spot and some white hairs throughout her coat. Silk is now owned by Janice, and is her main riding mare and buddy. Thank you for giving Silk the home she deserves Janice!
